The McCoy Lazor Zap XF is a modern take on Geoff McCoy’s iconic design, built for fast, flowing surfing with that trademark loaded dome feel and effortless speed down the line.  It blends classic curves with a lightweight epoxy construction, giving plenty of drive, easy paddling and a super lively feel underfoot.

Construction

• XF EPS epoxy construction with a 36 gsm EPS core and 3.6 mm timber stringer for a balance of lightweight feel and controlled flex.
• Deck layup: 1 x 6oz E-glass plus 220 biaxial cloth for durability and a responsive flex pattern.
• Bottom layup: 1 x 6oz E-glass with 4oz fin patches to reinforce the fin area without adding excess weight.
• Epoxy resin with a powder finish for a crisp, clean look and long-lasting performance.

Design features

• Signature Loaded Dome bottom concept to keep foam under the chest for paddling while still feeling sensitive and controlled on rail.
• Full outline with plenty of width and volume carried through the board for glide, early entry and flow in weaker surf.
